Communications Specialist - Social Media with Corewell Health

Since September 2022, I have been a member of the external communications team at Corewell Health (the new name for Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health), where I help curate social content and plan strategy.

This page serves as a repository for the public work I’ve contributed to the Corewell Health social pages. All thoughts, opinions and linked information sources are my own. I am not acting as an authorized spokesperson for Corewell Health.

Planning and Creating Content

Our small but mighty team manages all social content for the entire organization. To curate organic and paid social content, we collaborate with many internal teams—including internal communications, marketing specialists and service line directors, web and UX, executive leadership, and more.

I help to create a mission-focused digital presence on social media for the organization. From stories on patient experiences to innovation in technology, employee stories, and general health and wellness tips, our content shares how Corewell Health can serve as a leader in health care.

Inbox Moderation and Brand Reputation Management

We also engage with the community on social—from responding to comments and questions to discovering shareable stories. In many ways, our team serves as the eyes and ears for what’s happening in today’s zeitgeist.
